Haiz. I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about going back to TCHS on 31st August. Everyone's changing. Would I even recognise them when we meet again? Will we engage in conversation as like in old times or would we feel awkard, having no common topics to talk about? Will there even be any acknowledgement of past accquaintance? Even though some of us are in the same school, some have already pretended not to know their ex-classmates. It is very sad.

Oh well. I'm constantly filled with nostalgia.

Although there may be some whom you really cannot see eye-to-eye with, there are too many kinds of people in the world for you to hate them all. Try making more friends than enemies...

Hmm. Funny how a cartoon show can end up being a tear jerker. Shall not say which lest I get laughed at. =D Quote from cartoon: "Sometimes the most difficult part of being a friend is to say goodbye." (or something to that effect)

Met my junior on the bus a few days ago. Had a nice chat. You know,(obviously you don't other wise you won't be reading this.)(nevermind) I feel that sometimes juniors can come across as.....younger siblings. Although you only spend a few years with them, but you watch them change, grow pimples, hear their voice break(in this case), you see that they are like, growing up. Oh well. Maybe it's just me lah. I'm an only child. ONLY CHILD!! Ah. Maybe when my parents are qi1lao3ba1shi2 I will still ask them why they didn't want to have another child and bug them to have another one. (if virtually possible. =x)

Good luck to (any) seniors (who are reading this) for prelimns!

And Singaporeans can you stop complaining?! Junyang out then out lah, it has become a fact. I also think he is good what, but you cant cry over split-i-mean-spilt milk. At first blame Wei Lian bad enough, then blame the system of 70-30 weightage, now blame Quan Yi Feng for so-called helping Wei Lian to gain votes by saying what she said. If Singaporeans were so easily swayed, you all complain(ers) would not have been supporting Junyang till now. Right? Can you exercise a bit of your brain?

Oops. Maybe you don't have. Cause you know how some people listen to the DJ read 4D results? THEY LISTEN TO THE BACKGROUND MUSIC INSTEAD OF THE NUMBERS! And some people can possibly hear the background music when it is (note: exaggeration) as loud as an ant's squeak. Ant's don't squeak, you say? Have you ever heard an ant squeak? No? There, it is so soft that you cant hear. (note: warped point)

This is the first time I am not liking a promotion. Promotional exams.

I am feeling super pissed off now. There are really all kinds of people in this world.

The Superstar Saga.

Those people who are pointing fingers at him, please stop it. Don't hurl accusations at people just because they have disqualified your idol. May it be Junyang, Derrick or Jason. This is a competition, and in any competition there may be bao4 leng3 cases. If you can predict the results so accurately, what for watch the results show? If you are unhappy with the results, it has nothing to do with Wei Lian. If you think he does not deserve to get in, why not blame yourself for not making enough calls? And it doesn't mean that the better ones will always get in. Remember William who scored 37 in the beginning? It was the highest score back then. And I think he can sing really well and has the image of a star. Why was he disqualified in the very beginning then? If you say it's because he has very few votes, then obviously Mediacorp did not play with the results. Otherwise why would they want to disqualify such a good singer?

It is really not Wei Lian's fault that he got in, he doesn't deserve all the criticisms that people are giving him. Some of the people are just pointing fingers at him because their favourite idol got out. Did he choose who to be disqualified? No. Put yourselves in his shoes. How would you feel? Winning a competition and getting accused everywhere. It's really a good thing he is not reading the newspapers. (I hope the people around him keep it away from him or something.) And Wei Lian apologised to the fans of Derrick (and Junyang, I think). Then people are still complaining. He has done nothing wrong, why should he apologise?

It is really, really, not his fault. Demanding the number of votes from Mediacorp will soothe your anger meh? So what if you know? The votes will obviously be lesser right? And a fan actually said that letting fans know the number of votes will let them si4 de4 ming2 mu4. (die(rest) in peace?) Please, I think you are being very wu2 liao2, shallow, and please think before you make comments like that. Will you really feel better after seeing the no. of votes? Maybe you will say,

"OH! Heng ar! My dear (insert contestant name) only lost by a thin margin."
Or,
"My dear (insert contestant name) lost by so much! How can?! Mediacorp must be faking!"

See, release also complain, don't release also complain. What you want them to do??

Besides, the show already emphasised that 'Vote otherwise your idol will be out!' So it's your fault if your idol didn't get in. Not others' fault.

In case you were wondering, I am NOT biased towards Wei Lian in the first place. (Nice change for once...I am usually super subjective) I think Junyang sings better than Wei Lian and I support Kelly. (already so from the beginning) But I still think William might have done better than Junyang. Hah.

Did you read the papers? There was this interview on last Sunday's Life section (I think) with a guy who had a traumatic experience in India. (traumatic seems too mild) He met with an accident.

An extract:
"The truck rolled over his legs. When the driver heard Lee's screams of agony, he reversed his vehicle (too bad there's no font size 72), only to flatten his victim's already crushed limbs."

I bet ANY mad, insane, lunatic, deranged, retarded, nuts, bonkers brainless mindless senseless heartless IDIOT will NOT do that. Which person in the right state of mind would reverse his vehicle to 'complete the process'? Please lar. It's like adding a finishing touch, as if it wasn't enough. I pity the poor victim. I admire his courage to live on, although he had thought of suicide on numerous occasions.

The intelligent driver suffered one day in jail.

Bus happenings:

1. I boarded the bus back home, and there was no space such that I had to stand somewhere near the entrance. (not quite, but near enough.) Then this aunty came along and wanted to alight from the bus, with her daughter. Then when the bus was reaching the stop, she suddenly said 'excusE ME!' She went from soft to loud, hence the caps. I felt a bit irritated. I mean, did she have to screech at me?! Sounded as if I was in the wrong. But I wasn't. You know why?
-I'm not deaf. She should not be so rude and screech like the bus was on fire.
-She was not fat.
-I am not fat. (DUH. Who dares oppose me?)
-Therefore, I COULD NOT TAKE UP MUCH SPACE AND SHE HAS AMPLE SPACE TO MOVE THROUGH.

Then I thought, maybe she was talking (screeching) to the person next to me. Oh well. But I heard her daughter saying, 'Aiya, we can alight from the front what!' How true.

2. A few months ago already. Also on the way back home. The bus was quite packed, but not to the extent that we had no seats, only that we had to fill up the double seats. Then, there came an empty seat. At this point of time, an old man came up the bus. When he was OBVIOUSLY walking towards the seat, a sudden movement at the corner of my eye. AND WTH! A TCHS TOOK THE SEAT! I tried to pretend I wasn't wearing the HC uni. Haiz. And it was a boy I knew too. Omg. Anyway, another person gave his seat to the old man...

3. This happened yesterday. ALSO when boarding the bus back home. I heard someone call out 'Jack!' I ignored it. Then someone tapped my shoulder and I turned around. No wonder. -_- It was Yun Ling. You know why she call me Jack? During the LEP camp, when Ying Hong, she and I were teaching Jasmine how to play bridge, Ying Hong said: 'If say you have ace, king, queen, then you can call jack to help you. Then he will climb the beanstalk.'

We laughed for about 1min.

Now, I also don't know why we laughed so long. Haha..

Anyways. My father hit a female a few days back.

A female cockroach.

=D

What did you think it was? It flew in through the door. (Did you know that only female roachies fly?) Refer this previous post.

Ok..I have just been dealt a blow by my GP teacher. Initially she gave us one essay outline (done by our classmates) each to evaluate, then she said she would give two outlines to those 'who can be stretched'. Then she gave me two. Second one was Yayan's. The first thing I spotted after taking her outline was the rubbish bin, which was so conveniently nearby. Haha. Anyways,

DO I LOOK LIKE I NEED ANYMORE STRETCHING!?!? Unless.

Unless it's in the horizontal direction. Oh well. Then after that she realised she didn't having enough scripts to go around (d.u.h.) Then she decided that I couldn't be stretched after all. I was so sad. So I went to do some stretching exercises in the library. I love Fridays! The physics people have physics lecture (duh~) but the LEP people get two periods off =D

Blah. A leopard has round spots right? (assuming all spots are round.) What happens it if decides to change its spots? To square spots. What's worse is that it looks nice in square spots. Oh well. Each to his own I guess.

I'm levelling up at the rate of 1 level/week!!!!! Help. Promos is in about 7 weeks. Means I would gain 7 levels by then. Wait. That has no link...

Omg. I wasted 20min arguing over the phone about why contipation is NOT a disability. It is not! If it were, then mouth ulcers should be considered too.

Ooh. Happy birthday Singapore. =D

Living at the 19th floor does has its benefits. I enjoyed the luxury of watching two fireworks display simultaneously, from Padang and from Marina. (however, I don't know how in thw world cockroaches make their way to the top. I thought they would explode in midair due to the air pressure or something.)

Anyway, I think Rui En was so pretty tonight! Yi Han suspects Taufik and Rui En weren't singing live. Hmm. I think I like girls with long, straight flowy hair...haha.

Had a nice chat with Junli on MSN yesterday which was quite interesting. Gained a lot of insight on the radio industry. But not convenient to reveal chat contents. Ha. ha.(Junli is an aspiring 933 part-time DJ)

If (I said If.) (Yes, you read it, if.) (I.F.) (STOP LAUGHING! I SAID IF!) (Can you let me daydream a bit?) If I become a radio DJ, you all must not send in negative comments about me ok? Want also tell me directly. =D -end of daydream- Anyway, I'll probably end up being some newspaper columnist who doesn't dare to show his face. (If I'm accomplished enough.) If not, I want to be a kindergarten teacher =D

I just found out that it can be so thrilling to be in Interact! There's this malay boy with huge, bright sparkly eyes whom I taught for only two times (before June hols some more) at the center. Then, last friday when I was about to leave with Huifen and Jasmine, (the latter bought green tea at 7-eleven. It read 'brewed with real jasmine leaves' or something like that. Go grab a Pokka Green tea bottle and read.) I saw the malay boy. Then, he looked up and waved at me! Was pleasantly surprised because I wasn't expecting him to remember me, since we didn't really have fixed students. Haha. Funny how I always feel a sense of accomplishment in those CCAs which are often despised by people. (Rather, I get laughed at.)

In the real world, people can be very realistic and obssessed with accomplishments and fame. They resort to everything to climb the social ladder. Actually, if you think about it, there's people like that in school too. Haiz. Not everyone is so simple and without xin1 ji1 like me. (Did I say like me?) Haha..anyways. Tried to read the first chapter of Hong Lou Meng but didn't understand some parts. Argh. I actually felt bored by it. Maybe it would help if I got hold of a simplified version or something.

AND WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WEARING RED TOP AND COLLEGE BOTTOM!! THINK ABOUT IT! I would rather wear my school uniform. I miss TCHS! I'm sure they're allowed to wear home clothes totally. Instead of RED TOP AND COLLEGE BOTTOM! omg. Red+orangey beige-brown. What a splendidly perfect combination. (if we were in Mars. Or Venus.)

You know, everytime I have so many things to blog about but I always forget them when I sit down to type. Oh well. I'll repost if I can remember later.

(how many 'if's' did I use in this post?)

I'm typing rubbish again...off to watching superstar!~ now that only the GOOD ones are left. XD

Yay. Today my waterbottle leaked and I didn't realise it. By the time I did, my maths TYS was sacrificed. (not much actually, only one corner of the back cover of the book.) Lucky my exclusive 933 notebook was not wet. The one with the exclusive Wilber Pan signature. Haha.

Anyways, Adeline said I was disgusting, upon seeing that I left a folded bus ticket in the side pocket of my bag. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er. Er.
