i didnt go back to pri sch today....i had promised myself to go this yr last yr...(meaning last yr, i promised i wud go back this yr..u get e idea) bt den i backed out last min...was feeling a bit frustrated bcoz i cudn't make up my mind as to whether to go wif classmates to eat or go back pri sch. in e end, i decided to go n eat. den when i called e informal 'organiser' to ask whos going, she mentioned a whole list of female names, den i ask her got any males? she said yes. i ask how many? she said one. i ask who? she said . at tt moment, i congratulated myself for making e right choice. or so i thot. coz all girls no boys den very wierd. later they bully me. altho last time i could hold my ground against e usual gal gang...dou4 zui3 wif them normally win. later on, when i reached home, i thot abt it. den i realised tt this wud b sort of e last chance to visit pri sch n see pri sch mates too! i knew it might hav been better if i went back. at least cud keep in touch wif some of them...sigh. bt no use regretting now i suppose. maybe i cud suggest a class gathering eoy.....hmm. snds exciting to c how much everyone has chnged! i tink they cant recognise mi liao. last time they saw mi was sec2, i was 50kg den, n i tink 159cm. now, 168cm, 46kg! muahhahahahahahaha frm borderline acceptable weight to underweight. pro rite? say yes. ttfn!

went to jurong point to buy tchrs day present on a class basis. went there to meet e others, went after abt 1 1/4 hrs. v wu liao rite? tchrs r kind and compassionate, so they shud understand when we went to $1.05 shop to buy presents and cards. n it is oso extremely appropriate to giv tchrs cards tt dun hav 'happy tchrs day' or anything of tt sort written on them.
bt seriously, i dun tink tchrs will mind. if they did, they wud be very busy coz hav so many classes to give. of coz, whenever i walk arnd e staff rm to giv cards to tchrs, i cant help feeling a tinge of.........(insert word here) guilt? dunno. im referring to those wif lots and lots of gifts on e tables. invisible ones. esp so when its nxt to a table laden wif gifts. visible ones. it shows e popularity of tchrs...n younger ones get most of it. is this a trend? perhaps. bt is mrs chua very young? i.....suppose u hav common sense.
anyway, after a short chat wif my tuition tchr today, i hav decided on a job in e future. hope i can manage to take up tt position. wad izzit u say? dun luff. a teacher! most prob. a chinese one. didnt i tell u not to luff? *annoyed* really lar. it seems interesting enuff. i dunno abt e subject tho. bt im not gd at humanities, maths are a no-no(and kang kang)*freezes to death*, sciences not very stable, language is my best-of-e-worse bets i suppose. and anyway, it has always been my aspiration to be a tchr. i shall end here. ttfn!

there r two types of ppl tt i categorise into. one, e first time i c him/her, i take a liking to him/her. as for e other type, i see him/her, i take an immediate disliking to him/her. n it takes a lot for me to chng this view. unfortunately, or fortunately, david de cruz belongs to e second type. i dun even noe how he got in!!!! he shud be out, out, out! get out! yucks. so proud n stuck up. n cocky n everything. eWWWWWW.
olinda cho is a 101% percent tomboy! im sure u noe y rite! haha. her manner is so crude n..unrefined...i tink she will get into top ten, bt she wil nv be e sg idol. coz her image...doesnt suit. bt shes gd.

这个问题到今天为止基本上可以归类为common sense，但新加坡人有时候会不按牌理出牌，答案可以吓死人。
那天和优频道电视新闻组的同事到乌节路进行街头访问，目标对准十多二十岁的年轻人，主题是“对新总理的期望”。

一如往常，街头青年看到镜头闪的闪避的避，最后被“逮”着的，十之八九一脸茫然“哑口无言”，好像这是他们没有准备好的考试题目，那一脸慌张不知所措的表情，真是精彩。
最“恐怖”的是，我口快问了他们一句是否知道谁是我们的新总理（问了才后悔），居然有很多人不知道明天是谁当总理！
如果我是李显龙，除了失望、难过和伤心之外，还会震惊到眼镜爆裂。我想，如何让这群年轻人give a damn about the new PM，将是李显龙明天当总理之后的最大挑战！
给了这些在乌节路逍遥快活的年轻人提示之后，他们还是似懂非懂，最大的问题是没有人觉得那是应该懂的一件国家大事。给了他们答案后继续问他们对新总理的期望，面对镜头的是一张又一张呆呆的脸，几乎没有人说得出口，千篇一律的答案包括：

“没有什么期望，一切都很好。”（语气不耐烦，还看手表）
“啊？改？没有什么要改进。”（边说边傻笑）
“学校功课压力太大？不要紧啦，习惯了。”（没有表情）
“不知道，想不出。”（好像这个话题很可耻）
“不要问我啦，没有东西讲。”（还没有讲完就要跑）
“我很忙，谁当总理都一样啦。”（原来要赶去shopping）

听到这些中学生和大专学生水准非凡的答案，我原本已经很痛的头痛得加倍，从头痛到脚，最痛是在胸口。我很难形容我当时的心情，情绪在可笑与可怜之间波动，脑袋空白一片，因为实在太意外，没想到我们的新一代有“内涵”到这种程度。

难道在学校里，在家里连提都没有人提过明天我们会有新总理这个话题？学生、老师、校长和家长全部只管考试？
然后我在想，新加坡到底有什么理由和条件在世界地图上成名？我们凭什么可以样样第一？就凭这些连明天是谁当总理都不屑知道的未来国家栋梁？

震惊之余，想想又实在不应该大惊小怪，新加坡年轻人原本就是政治冷感的一群，最有兴趣知道只是周杰伦几时生日，或5566几时来开演唱会，谁的样子最cool。李显龙？对不起，你不够帅，不够年轻，你可以当总理，但我们这些莘莘学子没有想要了解你的那种欲望和冲动。

只是我以为这些年轻人至少会给我们的新总理一点面子，假假都应该在乎一下，或花点门面功夫“装懂”，敷衍也好。可惜统统没有，blur look尽显，毫不掩饰，一点都不会不好意思。
可怜的新总理，明天要上任了，到现在还有那么多人不知道他就是新加坡的一国之首。而且还觉得不知道没有关系，一点不觉得羞耻，they simply can't be bothered。
我们坊间一些忧国忧民的百姓时不时都在担心，继李显龙之后新加坡是否还有能才治国？新加坡会不会在第三任总理之后出现领导断层的危机？
这个忧虑现在看来是多余的了。因为只要我们有一群连明天是谁当总理都不知道的未来“国家主人翁”，我们有再好的国家领导人也没有用。
一个人不论他多么有才干，如果他管的天才在努力吃喝玩乐考试拿A之余，只愿意像白痴一样不问世事过日子，那真是天大的危机。
我们的新总理李显龙，祝你好运。

a guy threw a cigarette wif poor aiming at a rubbish bin n missed. den he juz walked away den his gf behind him picked it up n threw it in n scolded him n pinched his butt. juz finished watchin s'pore idol. a lot of luffin...i mean. the lemon tree guy was simply unbeatably absolutely downright h.i.l.a.r.i.o.u.s. n he composed his own dance moves too! wth. bt there were of coz a few gd ones...n the attitude of one of e guys really sucked. wa lao, preparing one day b4 e audition! n he had e cheek n audacity to admit it to e judges. how stupid can he get! bt it was overall gd(the show i mean). i really pitied e shanghai guy. maybe he shud hav tried for star search instead? i cant help feeling the judges might be obliged to feel prejudiced against ermies........china ppl. chinese. or maybe foreigners. den y name it singapore idol instead of singaporean idol? n e faint volume guy was oso v funny! i tink i betta stop commenting on him else ppl wud compare him to mi =x bt i ain't tt soft-spoken...rite? o_O pls say yes >_<

hmm...august's started. yah i noe its been a wk liao, bt in the midst of common tests, i didnt really notice till now. i counted already...two presents this mth, two nxt mth, two in dec n tt wraps up presents for this yr :) bt this present business has always been a loss for mi *rolls eyes 360 deg* lol. bt it seems tt girls r more mindful of this kind of... details.or tings.(for boys, its mostly boys-->gfs. theey dun believe in presents frm boys.)*rolls eyes 720 deg* bt sometimes, a nice gesture lyk this can really cheer ppl up. lame rite....anyway, today attended e very simple farewell.....gathering(?) [cant call it a party] for sec4 librarians. as usual, theres the buffet(n as usual all the usual food, i mean its almost e same every yr!!) n den givin out of cert of appreciation to sec4s. den giv out outstandin librarian award by level.

i saw e name when i entered. it wasnt mine. i forced out a smile when yihan pointed it out to mi discreetly. i dunno wad to feel. <WARNING BHB ALERT>honestly, i was.....expecting tt i wud get it. y? coz it had been, in e case of sec4s, the chairman wud get it. even last yr, when there was a special case of two awards for sec4, e vice chair n chair got it. now.....i dunno. i know its not some prestigious award. perhaps u wud juz snigger n say 'lamer!' bt i dunno y i view it wif such importance. i missed it in sec1, got it in sec2/3, missed it to e same person in sec4 again. sigh. i dun understand...im sure i put in more effort then him...at least, i organised more activities den him...work attitude...i dun tink i display poor attitude, at least....i've never missed my duty once....y? y is it tt i m not getting it this yr? im not jealous...juz feeling a sense of emptiness. four years in the club...n i walk away wif a measly cert juz lyk everyone else. m i really not as gd as him? wad is e reason tt all e tchrs didnt vote for mi to b chairman during elections last yr? altho i still got the post, bt i hav been troubled till now..n i still dun hav e ans. in any case, i managed to push my emotions aside n put on a smile. i found it especially hard to when rose announced the sec4 level. bt, i tink i managed to suppress my feelings...until i reached home. din feel lyk doin anyting else. tts when i thot abt all this questions. i mean...big deal...so wad if i din get it? bt there was juz this bugging feelin which i dunno wad. anyway, i felt better after plunging down in a sofa n reading for e whole afternoon. can put ur thots aside. ur still reading on? thanks... i thot u wud've stopped by now. many ppl tink library club is lame.

and all of them got in. maybe squeeze is a better word. suddenly, i appreciated the sweet smell of ammonia, as i relished in the......brain-provoking SMELL courtesy of victoria sch. yup. u guessed rite. they were havin their mac run. i was unfortunate enuff to share the bus wif them. i took in a whiff n almost choked. now i feel guilty when i rmb i din chng during sec1 n 2 aft mac run. den i was trying my best to keep alive in e bus. den i juz had to hear the stupid qotd by a lame victorian. not tt im biased against victorians(hey i did choose victoria in 1st option form!)...aft all, as leeks said, one cat is black doesnt mean all cats r black.....the worst part was tt, when i got to my stop, I COULDNT GET DOWN! dun tell mi i shud hav elbowed my way thru all the stinky boys...not me. even if i was going home to bathe den. so i took a few more stops to interchng n took a bus back. took abt 15min more...
i was so.....dunno. suddenly struck by an inspiration frm nowhere to write a poem. my first poem. if it can b called a poem. i tink its more to let ppl luff at so tt they can take a break frm their common tests. aft debating wif myself over to post it or not, n aft rmb-ing abt chualc 'peformance', i decided to do it. here goes. prepare to throw ur rotten eggs.
