Just finished reading two books over the long slack week. Both mystery/thrillers, but more so thriller. I declare that I don't really like Patricia Cornwell and James Patterson books. I still prefer Agatha Christie. With Cornwell, there's a lot of technical jargon and I think the deaths are too gory. -_- and none of the nice ending twist that I like. Patterson puts a twist but it's quite clumsily placed. Christie's books never fail to surprise me...and I think the twist is always so nicely and smoothly executed. Twist until I so thin.

Anyways. Found another mystery writer. Ngaio Marsh or something. Dunno how to pronounce. But I like the first book I am reading now. Coz it has my name inside. =x

Oh, the econs lecturer is very lame. Teaching us how to be evil. About imports and exports. How to restrict other people's imports. Only she can be so evil la. Then ask Zuohou to suggest some evil ways and say that "Come on la, everyone can think of evil things what." For her only lor. Haha. Anyway I like the lecturer. Quite funny sometimes.

Then today chem lect is cancelled! Thanks to students council investiture. Haha. Found out about it yesterday when I logged on to EMB (first time) to print the BT timetable. Wa, first time log in then have this kind of good lobang. Must check EMB more often already.

After that, Ethel was writing her compo and Clara and I were thinking of ways to end her story. We wanted to spice up the possible sucidal ending of the female lead. Then Clara suggested having the male lead (boyfriend) walk past when the girl jumps down from 10th storey and hit a car. Then will have an impactful ending. (literally) I suggested the male lead being inside the car too and thus the couple died happily ever after. Haha. Both of us can write bestseller already. (no, we don't have violent tendencies)

Hmm. What wls said the other day about fathers having a hard time maintaining a relationship with their children kept me thinking. According to him, fathers will almost always have to find a 联系with the child. Cause they are unlike mothers who cook and do housework for the child everyday. He cited his own example, saying how his father was unwilling to keep the car, which they had been sharing, for his own use then wls buy another one. It's coz his father wanted to keep sharing the car so that at least there is something bonding them--the car. Whenever they met, they would talk a lot about the car, like maintenence of it and etc. Then this morning while my father was driving me to school, he kept talking to me...about random stuff. Then I was like thinking, "hewantstofinda联系hewantstofinda联系"....haha. But I think it would be quite true. Although some fathers would be satisfied by just providing the child with material comforts. Haiz. I hope I won't have such problems next time. Maybe I can play maple with my kid. =x
