Whew. Mediacorp is coming up with the first 3G tv serial...so we'll get to watch movies on our handphones soon. Somewhere around mid-june. My birthday is in mid-june. Ok, no link.

And guess who's acting in this idol-drama? 715. Julian Hee. Kym Ng. And they call it IDOL DRAMA. omg. Ok, maybe that's because Roy Qiu is acting too. But hello? Kym Ng in an idol drama??? Maybe she can play a mom's role. And we are so tired of seeing Julian and the triple digit man on the screen nowadays. At least, I am. Just because they have absolutely killer bods that make girls like Shaoning swoon doesnt mean you should keep giving them filming opportunities right? (oops, Shaoning only swoons at Vincent Ng.)Maybe that's because Chris Lee and Lee Nan Xing are going to retire...but that's no fair! Fann Wong is still getting roles in the latest 9pm serial. And besides, it makes people feel sympathetic towards Vincent Ng. He has a (i think) better face and bod than triple-digits yet he has so little filming opportunities. Less than Julian Hee. I wonder why? And he even has to earn money by setting up wushu classes. Moreover, Mediacorp always exploits his body during NKF. What do they take him as? A prostitute. haha. (If you realised, for the past few years Vincent Ng is always performing without a shirt on NKF.) It was so obvious this year lah. Ix Shen was wearing something decent. When interviewed, he came up with something lame like "don't want to waste the costume because Song Yi Fei had to pull up of the perf and she's not wearing it anyway." haha...he's crossdressing. Ok sorry. I'm just irritated by NKF's intense call for donations. And they're attracting people through money. Money.

MONEY. Cause they keep saying 'CALL NOW!!!! LAST CHANCE!!! IF YOU CALL LAST YEAR THEN YOU SHOULD CALL AGAIN CAUSE YOU GET DOUBLE!! Even if you never call last year, must call this year so that next year you can call so that you win double!' And it goes on and on and on. So you're made to call every year for the extremely attractive prizes.

Anyway, today some maths prof came to talk to us about applications on maths in modern life. Everyone was very happy. I mean, it was MATHS WEEK! It's so fun lar. Then everyone was very happy. You know why? Because it was MATHS WEEK! Ok seriously. Everyone was very happy because:

  1. The maths prof was happy because he got to ramble on to a group of extremely(and obviously) interested students about how maths can save your life. Through deciphering germs and viruses by punching calculators (not literally) and finding out that cosine0=1. WOW!
  2. The students were very happy because they get to mug for the econs timed assignment held later just by pretending to be interested in the talk. And for some it was a bonus because they get to catch up on their beauty sleep lost due to last night's mugging for econs.
  3. The teacher Mr Yeow was very happy because he got to walk around the auditorium and confiscate the students' econs lecture notes. By around 5 minutes, he had collected a small pile already. Amazing isn't it? And I even saw a chinese book titled something like 'The Bible' taken by him. And you say people are not reading. Why, they're reading what!

So, the moral of the story is, students were not listening to the maths talk because of econs timed assignment.
