went to orchard to shop for clothes today..cny coming mah. but different thing is that i went with my parents...it seems so long ago since the last time i went out shopping with them...hmm. anyway had wanted to buy a pair of jeans but ended up buying two pairs to cargo pants instead. quite a lot of people at robinson's doing their shopping. and my mom was quite happy to buy two new cooking/frying pans. and my dad bought nothing. -_- he didnt like the stuff there i suppose.

and i spent a happy 45min in times bookshop browsing through all the shelves =D but i still prefer popular... =p it has a more friendly feeling to it while times always gives me a very high-class and cold and quiet feeling. hahas. wierd me.

while we were eating at macs, there was a commotion because there was this kid of about 3 years crying and wailing his lungs out as his father didnt want to buy him ice-cream. how familiar this scene is! =) i didnt wail for ice-cream la, i didnt even wail out loud actually, cause i am a person who has very thin skin(since young) but i would beg my mom to buy me that nice jigsaw puzzle or a bright playdoh set. hahas~! anyway his father just carried him in his arms and sort of bobbed him up and down(obviously it wouldnt work!) and after like 10mins of wailing he realised that apparently it wasnt working and so he went out of macs. small kids are sooo cute! yet so menacing and troublesome at times. but i love them anyway. (cute small kids does not include paul though he is a small kid but he is not cute. oops. =x =D no offence taken.)

and so i spent almost the whole afternoon shopping.

conclusion: shopping with your pals is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better! hahas. =X

and for some wierd reason, the past few days my modem has been connected at 3.4MB/s. i signed up for a 256k connection plan. thats like...13 times faster? wow! yays~ value-added =]
