went for class dinner with our seniors yesterday night at cine. then there was lep orientation today. we had a mini war game like thingy which was quite fun too. but of course the real war games of hc was more fun. we were split into two teams for the game today and everyone had a ribbon attached to them. just sticking out of the top of our shorts lah, not pasted or what. the original objective of the game was to sneak into the other team's 'base' and try to find the 5 objects that were hidden around the base. then we could grab other people's ribbon(lifeline) and once their lifeline was grabbed, we had to bring them to the 'graveyard' (flagpole) and dump them there to do forfeits. when they finished their forfeit, they could then get their ribbon back. but then during the game the whole objective changed because firstly both sides hid them in places that were impossible to find. in the end, the opposing team(blue) took the offensive while we(yellow) took the defensive. then the blues were circling our base and trying to get in. our base was at the right wing. theirs was at the zen garden, which nobody cared anyway. almost the whole blue team was outside the wing, trying to get past our valiant defenders(including me..haha). i think only a few of us were at the zen garden.
at the beginning of the game, i chiong-ed to their base with james(not tchs one) from (i think) 7.3 and THERE WERE SO MANY DARN DEFENDERS!!! we ran around and around the zen garden doing three things:
1. trying not to get caught
2. spot the stuff we were supposed to find
3. after sprinting around a while and feeling exhausted, attempting to retreat
of course, with like 10 against 2, we were seriously outnumbered and died once. then we decided to be defenders. i fared better then(i always do at defending than attacking o_O) and caught two girls. hey! i didn't bully them lor. just that when the other yellows were cornering one girl and she was retreating, i just stepped to her back and pulled out the ribbon. haha. we attacked by cornering them one by one. then yayan was blue and trying to get into the base. she searched the benches on the borders but didnt find anything. (i let her do that cause there wasn't anything to be found there anyway! lol) then jian kai was also a blue but he didnt pose any threat so i didnt bother about him. erps. in fact, the girls were much more hiong...dashing into the base but didnt know what to do or where to start finding stuff except die.(under our hands)
then the councilors were doing up cny stuff and were afriad that we would trip over the(their) extension wire. in the end, they left later than us but were there earlier than us...so pia right. hooray for councilors.
kk shall stop now. still trying to come up with a decent skin for the time being for our class blog.
